Project refurbishment background

Recently, the Huaneng Jinghong Power Plant main plant bridge crane control system refurbishment project implemented by the Weite Technologies-Special Hydropower Business Department completed various commissioning according to the set goals and went into production smoothly, and passed the acceptance of the Jinghong Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau at one time.

There are two 660-ton bridge cranes in the main workshop of Jinghong Power Plant, which are mainly used to lift the rotors and runners of the hydroelectric generating units. At present, the main plant bridge crane has been in operation for about 15 years. The secondary components have entered the aging period, and the failure rate has increased. This not only restricts the maintenance period of the unit, but also poses safety hazards during the major lifting operations of the unit.

The construction period of the project is just during the period of the National Day and the 20th National Power Conservation Task. In order to implement the power protection task, under the great attention of the leaders at all levels of the power plant, the members of the project department strictly followed the technical requirements and completed the project efficiently.

Overcoming difficulties and completing work efficiently

In the face of many factors such as time constraints, the epidemic situation, the tight delivery of some components and the high temperature on site, the on-site construction project department proceeded from the actual situation of the project and actively communicated and coordinated with the team. Detailed deployment, scientific preparation of the work plan, and overtime work during the transformation work to complete the key control nodes of the plan, so that the bridge crane transformation project was successfully completed, overcame many difficulties on site, and completed the transformation work on schedule.

Domestic PLC

This transformation project all uses domestically produced PLC controllers as the core control components, replacing the original imported products. It is used for the first time in the double-vehicle linkage control system of bridge cranes. After continuous testing and optimization, the operation is stable and reliable. All the original rectification feedback control units are replaced with frequency conversion control units, and the multi-mechanism redundant control is realized by one control one and one control multiple control modes, which provides a reliable guarantee for the emergency operation of the bridge crane. The project not only realized the hardware upgrade, but also realized the multi-mechanism automatic operation function of the bridge crane through the upgrade of the control system program, and realized the automatic and precise positioning of the bridge crane through the three-dimensional coordinate command.

The successful completion of the project has provided reliable technical support for the maintenance and hoisting of the unit, and provided a reliable guarantee for the safe operation of the equipment in the later stage.
